Venus Freeze Frequently Asked Questions
Are Venus Freeze treatments right for me?
Venus Freeze treatments are safe, painless and non-invasive, making them a good choice for many people who want to reduce the appearance of wrinkles or loose skin. Ideal Venus Freeze candidates include mothers who want to tighten their skin post-pregnancy or individuals who want to reduce the appearance of unsightly cellulite.
What is Venus Freeze?
Venus Freeze treatments use pulsed magnetic fields and radio frequency to consistently and uniformly heat the skin from the inside out, without the threat of laser burns. The collagen fibers heat up resulting in skin tightening to attain exceptional results.
Venus Freeze treatments are non-invasive and painless, with many patients comparing the treatment to a hot-stone massage! The treatment is also very quick and effortless – 30-45 minutes, on average, depending on the body area.
Skin tightening, wrinkle reduction and cellulite reduction occur because the multi-polar radio frequency causes a thermal reaction in the tissue which stimulates the body’s natural healing response. That restoring response causes new collagen to form, and the production of new elastin fibers. The active collagen in the skin contracts, causing skin to look and feel firmer and the elastin fibers unravel making the skin appear more elastic.
Is Venus Freeze safe?
Venus Freeze is cleared by the FDA for Facial Wrinkles and Rhytides and Licensed by Health Canada for non-invasive treatment of temporary cellulite and temporary skin tightening. The Venus Freeze system has been the subject of numerous clinical trials by trained physicians and researchers. In a Canadian study of 15 subjects, three groups of patients were treated for eight weeks: one for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction around the neck and face; one for circumference reduction in the abdomen and hips; and the remainder for cellulite reduction. Among the first group, all patients showed moderate to significant decrease in wrinkles. The second pack posted an average shrinkage of 3.1 cm in the abdomen/hip area, and all members posted a dip in circumference. For the third portion, 75 percent of the subjects finished up with noticeable and satisfactory improvement in the appearance of their cellulite. The treatments went well, with no reports of serious pain or agitation and no major complications.
